-
Water Soluble Vitamins

Water
soluble vitamins consist of the two vitamins groups, however the vitamin B complex can be further split into a further 8 smaller vitamins as it is a more complex vitamin group

Vitamin B complex
When taking water soluble vitamins it is important to know that they are dissolved in water and our body processes them through the urinary tract, they will be flushed out of the body relatively quickly. This is why it is important to take water soluble vitamins on a daily bases. Weather taken by eating wholesome food or by a vitamin supplement.
Water-soluble vitamins can be destroyed easily or washed out during food storage or preparation. Storing your food properly in air tight container’ s can help to reduce this effect. To reduce vitamin loss, refrigerate fresh produce, keep milk and grains away from strong light, and use the cooking water from vegetables to prepare soups.
Because our body passes water soluble vitamins through our body at a rapid pace it is important that we replenish these vitamins daily. Although you can prepare and cook food that will give you the vitamin intake you need it is likely that your diet is lacking in proper vitamin’s.
I find it much easier to supplement my diet with a vitamin supplement that contains not only water soluble vitamins but also fat soluble vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts and their own special proprietary blend.
